Start the season at Beaver Creek Resort November 27, 2024 with the Beaver Creek Cookie Competition. Later that week, the holidays begin with the Tree Lighting and Ice Spectacular, followed by a Holiday Market.  

After an exhilarating day on the mountain, Beaver Creek is known for its hospitality and its chocolate chip cookie. Come down to the village and cast your vote for the best chocolate chip cookie.  

To be an official judge, you must stop by our Sign-Up tent next to the North Face to get your official Judging Score Card. You will be required to judge and taste all 5 cookies. Judging criteria: taste, texture, cookie creativity and appearance.  

Got little ones, they too can join the fun. Kids 6 and under will receive a special judging card as a keepsake, the “Judges in Training” will be offered classic “cookie time” chocolate chips cookies. 

Judging Score Cards will be given out in waves every half hour.  

The baker’s cookies are in limited supply – each batch will be capped, allowing a total of 1,000 official Cookie Judges for the entire day!

One of the five finalists will be taking home $2000, and will be featured in the Vail Daily, and have a full year of bragging rights.
