Ready for an unforgettable night under the Colorado stars? Ales & Astronomy offers guided stargazing with local expert astronomers, complete with cold Odell beer or non-alcoholic drinks plus swag giveaways. We’ll head to a dark spot where we’ll be able to explore the wonders of the sky to their fullest extent using specialized equipment.

This event is rain or shine – in the event of rain, the program will be moved inside with an interactive projected presentation. Please dress warmly as temperatures can dip dramatically at night in the mountains.

Registration includes guided stargazing presentation using expert level equipment, a guided Odell beer tasting, and swag giveaways.

Each stargazing experience features:

• An orientation to the evening’s night sky and zodiac constellations of the season, with exciting news and stories
• A laser pointer-guided tour of the night sky
• Sharing of facts and mythology of celestial objects
• An introduction to the Celestial Night Sky Planisphere and how to use it
• A guided telescope and astronomical binoculars stargazing experience
• Assistance to telescope owners seeking to maximize the enjoyment of their own gear

Max capacity for the program is 45 participants.
