Chris Klug
A long-time Aspen local, Chris Klug knows a thing or two about mountain living. As a three-time Olympian, a Bronze Medalist Snowboarder in 2002 in Salt Lake City, and an eleven-time US National Snowboarding Champion Chris has visited most of the best mountain resorts in the world. He believes there is no place like Aspen. He knows the best places on and off the mountain. Chris takes being your real estate agent seriously. He brings the same positive attitude, determination and dedication that made him an Olympic Champion to his real estate clients.
In 2000, after six years on a waiting list, Chris received a life-saving liver transplant. While waiting for a second chance Chris committed to helping make a difference to those awaiting the gift of life. In 2003 he founded the Chris Klug Foundation dedicated to promoting the importance of organ donation. Chris acts as chairman of the Chris Klug Foundation, and is the creator of the Aspen Summit for Life, a night-time uphill snowshoe race to the top of Aspen Mountain to celebrate life and help raise funds for Chris Klug Foundation.
